Son of the great Harry Manka and named after his Uncle (founding brother Khan Manka who died in 1937), Mr. Manka has been Chairman & CEO since his father's death in 1976. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Manka was a musician playing guitar and drums for several Southern California bar bands.
Called "The Last of the Moguls", legendary Hollywood producer/ executive C.J. Siegal has been COO of Manka Bros. on and off since 1976 and CEO Emeritus since 2006. Prior to that he was Assistant to Harry Manka. After Mr. Manka's death in 1976, Mr. Siegal retired briefly to Mexico only to be brought back by Khan Manka, Jr. He helped to pull the studio out of bankruptcy during the mid-1980s.
Mr. Grohl joined Manka Bros. in September 2006 and quickly cleaned house - firing many top executives at the studio including C.J. Siegal. He previously spent ten years with KB Homes as SVP of Existing Home Sales. He received his MBA from Harvard and is on the boards of Big Brothers and Sisters of America and Adopt-A-Kitten®.
One of the fastest rising young executives in Hollywood (he's only 26!), Mr. Chang has quickly turned the studio's finances around, bringing a cost-conscious mentality to the Burbank lot. Mr. Chang bypassed going to Harvard to become Manka Bros. CFO in 2006. He is on the Boards of Viacom, Disney, Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
Ms. Rafe has been with Manka Bros. for 25 years, starting out as a cashier in the commissary. Since being promoted to President of the Manka Bros. Theatrical Group in 2006, Ms. Rafe instituted Manka Bros. Writer's Award Program (MBWAP) which gives qualified screenwriters up to 15% top dollar gross of his or her films.
Mr. McBee became President of the Manka Bros. Television Group after winning a nationwide contest in 2006. A complete novice to television, Mr. McBee previously worked at a Radio Shack in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but he always wanted to be in show business.
New Yorker to the death, Mr. Weinstein has worked in the publishing world since he was 11-years-old. He has been President of the Manka Bros. Publishing Group since 1966 when, as a 19-year-old, he was asked to take the job by Harry Manka. He recently took a stab at writing for Broadway - contributing the lyrics to the Joey Levitch musical Gulag - which recently had a short run on Broadway.
A trained concert pianist, Ms. Sachs spent years trying to make it as a performer. After deciding to concentrate her efforts on office work, she was miraculously chosen to be President of the Manka Music Group in 2006 after previously holding the title of Manager - Jazz Copyrights. She would like to thank her husband and two dogs for their support during the lean years.
