If it doesn't open up at #1 then it is a real dog. it's on 2,500 screens while the other new ones Duets (500 screens) and Almost Famous (limited 130 screens). Prediction: Bait ($12-15 M); The Watcher (I don't really care - below $10 million)IP: Logged |

It's a big flop and Jamie Foxx needs to keep his TV gig as long as he can. Either the Olympics had a big impact on any film doing well - or no one wants to see Jamie Foxx in a movie. IP: Logged |

This was one of the worst weekends in memory at the box office. A lot of people are saying it's the Olympics - I just think there were really bad movies out there. Normally people will just go and see whatever big star crap is out there on a bad weekend - they didn't even do that this weekend. IP: Logged |
