Let's open it up kids. Who rules? All opinions are welcome. Personally i think Letterman is head and shoulders over everyone else. Conan is great and so is Jon Stewart, although some might not consider him a late night guy. Leno does not rate one bit with me. I've watched him, i think he's funny, but just funny on a whole other level that doesn't connect with me at all. Sort of like Rick Dees. Now there's a loser.

It's pretty a Conan world I live in. I actually watch Night Line (which gets me past the painful Leno monologue - although I check over and see if he's doing "headlines"). Dennis Miller on Friday nights is still top notch. Letterman is just annoying these days.

Conan! I make sure to have the Replay catch it every night. (So I can skip through the only part of the show I'm usually not interested in - the musical guests.) Unlike a lot of others, I thought the show was funny from the start (they had me from the moment Conan went to hang himself). Of course it won't be quite the same after Andy Richter leaves on May 26th. Has to be the funniest most useful sidekick I can remember seeing. At least Triumph, the Masturbating Bear, Pimpbot, etc. will still be around.

SO, i flipped over to Leno during a commercial on Dave and found that genius showing off clippings people send him. Last week i saw him showing off "inventions" and another day there was a sad excuse for a remote where the questions had no connection to anything. I'm not saying Letterman is any more comprehensible or not annoying. Sometimes the stuff he had on is grinding like that Campaign 2000 stuff, let it die already. But he does continually keep my interest and make me laugh with irreverent off the wall observations and his cynical attitude to everyone is great. It's a good thing yesterday was Monday and i was able to enjoy Upright Citizens Brigade, followed by Daily Show, followed by Letterman, followed by Conan. By the time Conan was over they were showing a fine Skinamax movie that helped yer daddy go to sleep.

Nightline... then I check to see what guests are on Jay/Dave. I'll also see what's going on Politically Incorrect but most of the time the inane ability of the stars to argue about politics drives me nuts. Then Conan if I can stay up that late.

I suppose I'll watch Conan tonight. It's pretty funny sometimes. Andy was kinda boring though.

Boring?!?! Andy is hilarious!!! Was really funny tonight. Can imagine that a new viewer might not find much humor in the quick clips of old Andy stuff, but tonight's show wasn't for them anyway. (My only disappointment was that Triumph didn't do some sort of roast of Andy and no appearance by pimpbot or the masturbating bear.) Looking forward to seeing whatever Andy pursues next as well as continuing to watch Conan.

I agree... boring... Why would he want to leave one of the funniest shows on TV - what's he gonna do be in an unfunny sitcom. Tonight's show was like one of those shows they used to make fun of...
