I couldn't find a topic for something I wanted to say that wouldn't warrant it's own topic. So maybe a general one could be where can put all the miscellaneous crap that wouldn't get any comments anyway.

I saw part of this Shaun Cassidy produced show on USA about a Mob busting cop and his family (stolen style from Good Fellas). The show is kind of stupid - but the episode I saw was DIRECTED BY TONY DOW! Wally? Directing? How did that happen? Do the old TV hasbeens have a club that hires each other? It was weird.

I hardly consider Shaun Cassidy a TV hasbeen. He was on a very hot shot when he was a kid and now he's producing one television show after the other. That hardly qualifies him for has-been status.

Not that it's been great shows, but he's been directing tv episodes for the last 10 years.

UUUUUAHH! I just clicked on one of those ads that the Manka brothers tell us to click on and it was for the History Channel and it said: "Let Chevy Chase test your knowledge on American History." And it had a crappy picture of Chevy Chase. How far has this dude fallen.

What?! Tony Dow works? In show business? I work in the industry and I have never heard of Tony Dow working as a television director. Am I just clueless? Maybe it's something I would have rather not known about.

Anyone in the L.A. area right now, Behind the Pain of Different Strokes is on Entertainment Tonight. Drop whatever you're doing and turn on channel 2.

I think Desi Arnez ruined television comedy with the 3 camera system. Look at the classic comedies over the years and most were done with a one camera system. Any Griffith, Gilligan's Island, Leave it to Beaver, all one camera system. Thanks, Desi, for nothing.

Next year on Will & Grace two guys are apparently going to kiss. There's a story out that acts like it is breaking new ground. What a bunch of risk takers of there at W&G, considering that they had gay characters but didn't show them kissing before the show was a hit or had made it to syndication. Now that it has, they can be "risky". It's great to show it, but don't act like you are pioneeers!

Wow, peoplehater, so you like Lorraine Newman and Desi Arnez. Excluding them, you must hate all other people.

Fine, peoplehater, I apologize. Desi Arnez is one of the most talented, womanizing, wife beaters that ever lived. How about that?
