Has anyone watched this show on HBO? Man, it's really funny!

It's Larry David (of Seinfeld fame) with his totally dry, sarcastic sense of humor and outlook (or down-look) on life. Cracked up at the first episode, and was laughing for a good 5 minutes over just the CLIP for the next one!

I love this show! I love HBO for having great shows! I'm so glad there's original stuff on tv again!

I have the same problem with this show that I had with Seinfeld - too self aware. The actors and Larry David (who hit the lottery with Seinfeld in my opinion and was only marginally good on "Fridays" - a show I used to love when I was a kid) ooze the fact that they are doing "quality" television. I don't know why this bothers me and I'm sure it's funny - I just can't get past their attitude.

But I must agree with the HBO comment.

I've really enjoyed it so far (3 episodes?). My only fear is that it's going to lock itself into sticking to a very similar plot format each week. But for right now, I consider it destination television.

It's just not as funny as when it started. Is it just me? I'm bored with it.

This second season wasn't as good as the first. But it still beats anything any of the other Seinfeld alum have done so far.

The other Seinfeld people should have been smart and gone to HBO. Julia Louis Dreyfuss' show looks dreadful, especially considering Brad Hall (the unfunniest guy out there) is involved creatively.

In their defense, two of them WERE actually involved with Curb Your Enthusiasm this season (so their record isn't totally blemished). I'm curious to see how JLD's show turns out.

An Emmy nomination for Best Comedy. Well deserved. I think it's hilarious.

Jerry Seinfeld will make a rare TV appearance when he guest-stars on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm next season, TV Guide reports in its current issue. According to the magazine, Seinfeld will play himself in the season finale of the show that stars Larry David, who was the cocreator of Seinfeld and its principal writer. The CYE episode is due to air in 2004.

On the season premiere of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry David (news) gets whacked in the head by a bathroom door, then drooled on by his doctor ... tries and fails to make time with a pretty girl by riffing on the problems of bowling ... accepts an offer from Mel Brooks (news), to everyone else's consternation.

"Curb" is back for its fourth season on HBO at 9:30 p.m. EST Sunday (right after the season premiere of "Sex and the City" at 9 p.m.), and this improvised sojourn into David's fevered psyche is just as funny as ever.

Jerry Seinfeld is due to make a cameo appearance on Larry David's HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm sometime this season, Newsweek reports in its current issue. According to the magazine, Seinfeld, who co-created his hit sitcom with David, turned up recently on the set for a visit and David quickly worked him into the episode. "But don't blink," David commented in the Newsweek article. (Today's New York Post observes that it will be the first time David and Seinfeld have ever appeared on screen together.) Meanwhile, Sunday night's episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm featured an appearance by Mel Brooks in which he proposed that David take the leading role of Max Bialystock (opposite Ben Stiller as Leo Bloom) in his Broadway hit The Producers.
