For those of you that have been to the theater, I'd be curious to hear what everyone says was their favorite moment/experience at the theater. Mine was when I saw Roger Rees play Richard III in London in 1987. Un-fucking-believable.

This one's easy for me. It was 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri. The play was The Fantastiks and the star was Philip McKeon (Linda Lavin's son in Alice). When he opened his mouth and started singing, my life changed.

I think it was seeing Cats on Broadway and seeing how all the boys cats liked other boy cats and the girl cats completely stayed away. It was like the boy cat dancers were gay or something. They were so convincing.

My kid was a flower in the school play. He was pretty good. I think that was my favorite moment.

I saw Bob Fosse's Dancin' in 9th Grade. When they did Mr. Bojangles with the old dancer and the "flashback" younger sell dancer, it was just great.

Yeah, gingerman, when your kid was the flower in the school play, that was probably my favorite moment too.

DerekP emailed me to post that I know him and he went to my kid's play with me. He did and he's a good guy.

The way DerekP is acting, so defensive, maybe he is a pervert.

My favorite theater moment was watching my friends have to eat strawberries covered with chili powder in a scene from our school's
"Oliver!"

They were bugging me, and I thought it would be really funny. They were mad.

Well done, Britny. Sometimes people deserve to have mean things done them like. Like when they don't return your calls when they said they would call. Like when you go over to their house and pound on the window but they don't even have the courtesy to open it.

I know how you must have felt.

Sorry. I didn't mean to kill the topic. I wrote that before I took my medicine. I'm now feeling very even. Carry on.

Another favorite moment, Ms. Angela Lansbury in Sweeney Todd. One of the great performances of all time.
