This is bullshit:"San Francisco To Pay for Sex Changes - The Board of Supervisors voted Monday to pay for sex changes for city employees. The measure would pay up to $50,000 in benefits to city workers who want to switch their gender. Approved 9-2, the bill awaits the signature of Mayor Willie Brown." This is ELECTIVE surgery. I've got NO issues with anyone's sexual preference, but this is ELECTIVE surgery and the public shouldn't be paying for it. If I feel I was born a "black man in the body of a white man" it doesn't mean anyone should be paying for a dye job for me. If I'm unhappy with my nose, the size of my boobs, etc., it doesn't mean anyone owes me the surgery (unless the latter two are somehow reconstructive, etc - in which case they SHOULD be covered in insurance, etc.). Just typical PC bullshit. IP: Logged |

For once, we are in agreement. But then, I don't like paying anyone else's bill for anything, unless thay HAVE been contributory and are now truly incapacitated.IP: Logged |

Going to a Madonna concert does not necessarily make you gay. If you LIKE Madonna and have her albums AND go to the Madonna concert, then, yes, you are gay. Hope that clears it up for you.IP: Logged |

I'm thoroughly confused. But that's okay, 'cuz I'm female so the Madonna thing doesn't really apply to me. Especially since I'm not really into Madonna.Do people ever really wonder whther they are gay? How could someone not know their sexuality? IP: Logged |

I think men who come out of the closet do so only after a long period of self-discovery. Just because you like looking at a guy's ass doesn't mean you've completely gone over to that side. But I think once you've accepted that you enjoy Madonna (and for that matter, Barbra Streisdand, Liza and Judy Garland) and go to her concerts, then I think you have a good idea.IP: Logged |

And to answer your question about confusion, there are certain performers (and for that matter, showtunes) in which 90% of the male fans are gay. It's documented fact. Madonna is one of those performers.IP: Logged |

But, I mean, does anyone really sit around and wonder, "Gee I like looking at men's butts... does that mean I'm gay?"In a sense I can see the confusion. Men love my ass -- and frankly, with one rather pertinenet exception, from the waist down, I am built like a fourteen year old boy. I love to tease men about that -- how much they love my ass and how much my ass and hips are very boyish... Guess what I meant was... I don't know. I beleive, that fundamentally, all animal creatures are bisexual. That doesn't necessarily come out in our lives, because it doesn't have to. But really, if you are sexual at all, you'd know that. And, as we grow up, we figure out various preferences we have -- more specific than gender. But... Ack, this is another one that I get into then realize that NO! -- it isn't so clearly a part of other people as it is me. Infact, the world we've created discourages peoople from knowing (even acknowledging) their sexuality -- or any secxualtiy for that matter. UGH! Can I jsut go sleep for a few weeks and wake up in another world? IP: Logged |
