Fight on you Dogs! Nice to see another Ice Dogs fan. The Kings are #1 in my book though. But enough about hockey. Earthquake thread! I like that the local stations preempt programming to hear people say that a book fell off one shelf and everyone starts their phone in with "Well, I was just sittin' watchin' TV when..." I know!!! I'ts soo stupid..but the last 3 quakes we have had..I didnt hear a thing about them untill i read the paper the next day!...What's with THAT?..small quakes just arent good enough anymore..Not dramtic enough I guess...I also hate when we get a normal rain and it turns into "Storm Watch 2001"...DA DA DA DUM!!!!!!IP: Logged |

Oh! But what would LA news BE without it's annual "Storm Watch"?! Reporter in slickers on a sunny day at the beach suddenly going, "Yeah, I think its starting, I feel some downfall", when all he's feeling is the damn ocean spray!!!And what sort of comedy would we lose if we didn't have Paul Moyer in his PJs w/ a sport coat over covering every little tremor while he treats all the rest of the news crew like they were ignorant slaves? LA "News" is a GLORIOUS embarassment unto itself! Used to annoy the hell out me, but then I realized how much fun MILEAGE I get out of it in conversation with non-LaLa residents! I almost even miss television for lack of our high comedy "news" shows... IP: Logged |

Anyone else in New York feel that little earthquake? I thought it was just the normal rock and rolling of the city until my assistant told me it was an earthquake.IP: Logged |
