Okay... other than Manka Bros. (how do you like that guys?) - what are some of the sites you go to on a regular basis? It doesn't have to be entertainment - just anything news, shopping, community - what's some of the best stuff out there?

I only hit a few sites a day. I wouldn't have come to this one if JP hadn't harrassed me into posting. Now I like it. I go to Yahoo if I need to find something. I go to CNNSI for quick scores or ESPN for more details. I shop at Amazon, also Pets.com for my cat. For fun, I watch TV or go out to bars. Online is not for fun, but great for information or for just shooting the shit. Like now.

I go to CNN for news. Marketwatch is good for business news and stock stuff. I do alot of cooking so I go to cooking.com which is actually a really useful site. People on the internet should never, ever buy another cooking book. Every recipe ever devised is on the net and easy to find. That's the real value of the internet, quick information. Why does it need to be TV, we have TV. Why would anyone want to take TV away.

iFilmpro - which I find more entertaining than iFilm. I like showbizdata.com for news headlines. I like the Drudgereport for sensational news items. ESPN. These are all pretty basic.

Every day, before even Mankabros (sorry guys), I hit www.thehungersite.com and www.therainforestsite.com, and some of their sponsors (to keep the thing going).

Don't know how long this type of online philanthropy can last, but it's worth the effort to try to make it work.

Then I go to www.iwon.com to try and win a million bucks just for me!

I got a pretty basic ritual. First I log onto my Earthlink account and check that email and stock stuff. Then I go out to the web for a quick news scan at www.cnn.com - then I move on to www.drudgereport.com just to see what "sensational" stuff is going on. After that is just general surfing - news, stocks, sports - I'm not really entertained by the internet yet. It's great for information.

I must admit - I'm an Aint It Cool fanatic. www.aintitcool.com - I hope you guys at Manka become more popular, because I think there's more intelligence going on here - but there's just so many opinions over there. Other than that, basic stuff - news sites, hobby sites, eBay - I spend a lot of time online. Keep up the good work, Manka.

I got to www.ivillage.com - I go to www.cnn.com for news - I go to www.theonion.com every Wednesday for big laughs - and I surf endlessly. I like message boards. I post on about 40 it seems. But Manka is my favorite at this moment.

www.cnn.com for news because they update fairly regularly. www.drudgereport.com because I like news that is blown out of proportion, it makes it sound more interesting. www.theonion.com always funny.

Well, since I work in the big time world of movie making at a major movie studio - I have a morning ritual in which I can get caught up on the latest breaking news. During TV season, I check out www.ultimatetv.com for the overnight ratings. Then go to www.drugereport.com and the link to the Showbizwire. Quick check on Aint it Cool, I go to the new media news site www.inside.com - then I check out some posts on www.ifilmpro.com - then I finally get to www.cnn.com for what's really going on in the world. Then it's time for coffee and the trades. It's Hollywood, baby.

www.skysports.com has the best coverage of soccer from any site I've seen. I don't normally like anything from England, but I love soccer and they cover everything. Though I wish they covered Latin amercia a little better. ESPN and CNNSI international sports also do good soccer coverate.

www.inside.com is my new favorite site for media and entertainment news. I go to it first thing every morning. Eventually (they say) they're going to a subscription only service - yeah, right. But now it's a really well done well informed site.
